Mannion Wins Hot Three-Way Action

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Ross Mannion led on Day 1b for a period of the day and he's started off fairly reasonably today having just knocked out two players in one hand.

Mannion: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Phillip Corion: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Riad Kawmi: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board came {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Mannion's pair of kings scooped the lot.

McCorkell Folds to Shove; Busts Soon After

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Craig McCorkell
Craig McCorkell

On the river of a {J-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs} board, Craig McCorkell checked and David Vamplew moved all in. McCorkell tanked for several minutes before eventually asking for a count. It was 30,800 to call the Scot's bet and that amount represented almost all of McCorkell's remaining stack.

McCorkell eventually let go of his hand but it was to no avail, he was knocked out a few hands later.

Ziyard Calls with Ace-High

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

On the turn of a {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board, Sin Melin led out for 5,100 and Zimnan Ziyard made the call to see the {Q-Diamonds} on the river. Melin fired a bet of 9,900 this time and Ziyard tanked before making the call.

Melin didn't want to show and mucked her hand. Ziyard showed {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} having picked off her bluff.
