Eminoglu Takes Tough beat

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Yucel Eminoglu
Yucel Eminoglu

"If you have aces then good luck to you..." said Yucel Eminoglu and he threw a chip in.

With the board reading {6-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Eminoglu had check-raised Najib Kamand's flop bet only for the latter to move all in. Eminoglu made the call.

Eminoglu: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}
Kamand: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

"Come on baby, one time! One time!" shouted Eminoglu.

The {9-Diamonds} changed nothing but the {K-Spades} on the river was met with a few expletives from the man affectionately known as "Mad Turk". Kamand had his opponent covered and won a big pot.

The last 18,000 belonging to Cody went in with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} against McClean's {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and the latter won again on an {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} board.

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Chattaway: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Stearn: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

The {2-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river changed nothing and Chattaway hurdled over the rail to get out of the tournament area as quickly as he could.

Peters Busts on the Break

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters opened to 11,000 in early position and Antoine Saout made it 28,000 in middle position. Peters called to see a {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} flop and check-called a bet of 35,000 from the Frenchman.

Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn and Peters fired 56,000 on the {8-Diamonds} river. Saout moved all in and Peters tanked well into the break before making the call.

Saout showed {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a rivered straight and a disgusted Peters threw his {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} straight into the muck face up and left the table.
