Ivan Karim

Ivan Karim is in his third day in a row with his signature hoodie zipped up to his nose and sunglasses on, completely hiding most of his face. He had unzipped to read the board and scoop up a double-up versus Scott Davies, but then zipped back up.

The two had been all in preflop and it ended with Karim hitting a full house.

"Oh, there he goes. Back into his cage," Davies laughed. "He came out to play for a bit but now he's back in his cage," he said, commenting on Karim's disguise. "What's going on? I haven't lost a flip since the Bush administration."

The river card was the {k-Spades} and both players elected to check this time. The river came {k-Spades} and Lemarquand checked. Delaney bet 38,000 and Lemarquand snap-called.

Delaney showed {8-}{9-} and Lemarquand turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, winning the pot.

Deeb is Done

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Freddy Deeb was under the gun when he pushed all in with his short stack. It folded around to Darryll Fish on the button who pushed all in over the top, forcing the players in the blinds out of the way, and the two players flipped up their cards.

Deeb: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Fish: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

When the board ran out {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, Deeb was eliminated from play and vacated his seat while Fish added the pot to his stack.

Latinsky Busted by Gambino

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Raymond Latinsky was all in preflop and AJ Gambino called with his big stack to put his opponent's tournament life at risk

Latinsky: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}
Gambino: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop looked like foreshadowing of what might come when the dealer slid out {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

"Oh, it's coming out," a player said, referring to the nine that would give Latinsky a straight.

But the turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river was the {k-Diamonds}, giving Gambino the pot and eliminiating Latinsky.

The players in the blinds checked and Gill bet 12,000 and just Patrick Blye called from the small blind.

The turn came {3-Spades} and Blye checked. Gill bet 37,000 and Blye took half a minute before folding.

"I'll show you one time," Gill said, flipping over {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}.
