Wheeler Lays it Down

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Kees van Brugge limped from the small blind and Jason Wheeler raised it up to 49,000. Van Brugge made the call and the flop brought out {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

Van Brugge checked to Wheeler who bet 45,000, and the Dutchman quickly check-raised to 176,000.

"We could've gotten it in preflop," Wheeler sighed as he folded.

"My hand was not that good," Van Brugge responded.

"I had a monster," Wheeler said, "And I got confused with the chips, because I wanted to make it bigger pre."

Wheeler loses yet another pot and he's now one of the shorter players with 10 left.
