Maksoud Loses some Profit

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Without much notice, [Removed:2] has climbed the rankings and was up to almost six digits before just paying off an opponent. With the {3-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {A-Hearts} board being completed, Maksoud bet 3,050 and then reluctantly called a raise to 7,500 by his sole opponent. The Lebanese mucked when he was shown {A-Clubs} {4-Spades} for two pair.

Kostem Re-Enters

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Another five players were sent to the rail recently including Amir Alter and Sinem Melin. Table four was closed shortly after that and Alper Kostem became the latest re-entry in today's field.

Cetiner Shoves

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the turn of a {Q-Clubs} {4-Spades} {10-Hearts} {7-Spades} board, a pot of around 10,000 chips had emerged and Serhat Cetiner was all in for just double of that and put Dimitrios Ballas to the test. The Greek had slightly more chips but opted to wait for another spot and mucked his cards.

Ballas is in for his second bullet on Day 1a after busting in level five.

Chip Developments

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Nichan Khorchidian, Jan bendik and Sinem Melin are down considerably in chips whereas Sergey Rybachenko and Timur Margolin are both heading in the other direction. Margolin just called a bet of 1,400 by Jan Bendik on a {7-Clubs} {2-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} turn before both players checked down the {9-Hearts} river. Margolin showed {K-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} for pair of nines with the final community card and Bendik mucked.

The Times are Changing

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Alper Kostem, Senol Sener and Rani Spanyev have been running out of chips lately whereas Manig Loeser and Benjamin Winsor have purchased their re-entry for Day 1a. Furthermore, Erwann Pecheux also found the way to the tournament area and jumped right into the event.

Mizrachi Busts Loeser

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Manig Loeser

After a four-way flop of {10-} {10-} {A-}, the action was checked through and Michael Mizrachi then bet 2,500 after the {8-Spades} on the turn. Manig Loeser called to see the {K-Clubs} appear as final community card. "The Grinder" faced a check-raise from 5,000 to 18,000 and moved all in, which was eventually called by Loeser with {K-} {10-} for a full house. Mizrachi however flipped over pocket aces for the higher full house and steamrolled to six digits.

It's Mizrachi Time

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Well, it isn't the procrastinated 80,000 in chips but Michael Mizrachi is close to that after flat-calling a raise with {A-} {K-} and spiking trip kings on the flop. A {10-} on the turn was checked through and the opponent only had 5,000 chips left when a second six paired the board for a second time. Mizrachi put the opponent all in and was rewarded the pot with the full house.

Boatman Takes from Neighbor

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Barny Boatman has been steadily stealing chips off his table neighbor to get up to 50,000 in chips, the biggest pot coming off an eight high flop where the Brit four-bet shoved and enforced a fold. The last hand saw him attack the big blind with a min-raise and fire a continuation bet on a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {7-Clubs}.

The player in the big blind was his only remaining opponent and both checked the {2-Diamonds} turn before Boatman gave up the {J-Spades} river to a 2,100-bet.
