Only Quads, Nothing to See Here

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Fuat Tanindi was the initial raiser from under the gun and found a customer in Roman Pavliuk a few seats over. The betting until the river of a {Q-Spades} {6-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} board is unknown, but Tanindi made it 6,000 to go after the final community card. Pavliuk didn't snap call but committed the chips, walking straight into the {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} of his opponent.

Kyriakides Storms to the Top

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Joining the action on a three-way flop of {9-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts}, Roman Pavliuk, Sekvet Yildiz and Miltiadis Kyriakides all put 2,000 chips into the pot. The {7-Diamonds} turn saw Kyriakides fire 4,000 and Pavliuk called, Yildiz also check-called out of the blinds.

After the {A-Clubs} river, Yildiz checked, Kyriakides bet 10,000 and Pavliuk was tempted to make a move before releasing his cards. Yildiz moved all in for what looked like 23,000 and was snap-called by the Greek with {4-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}. Yildiz only had {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and was sent to the rail.

Nichan Khorchidian said to the Greek "yesterday I had your chips in level four and still busted. Actually, I had even more, like 100,000." Kyriakides replied with a grin "Oh, that can happen to me also. Would not be the first time."

Poker Players and the Truth

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Nichan Khorchidian raised to 400 and was called by Miltiadis Kyriakides in the big blind, going to the heads-up flop of {J-Spades} {9-Clubs} {9-Spades}. The Greek check-called a bet of 500 and both then checked the {2-Hearts} on the turn.

The {2-Clubs} river saw another check by Kyriakides and Khorchidian bet 650, shortly after saying "I have ace-high." "Ace high? No good," Kyriakides replied. "Maybe I am lying," Khorchidian added and was called to reveal {J-Clubs} {8-Clubs} as winning hand.

Set Over Set Again

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

While the exact details escaped us, the entire table confirmed that Marco Della Tommasina doubled up with a set of sixes against a set of fours. Victim of said setup was Marko Mikovic, whose seat was empty when we walked by. The Serbian is still in though, however with one third of the starting stack only.

Crazy Hold'em

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Over on table seven there was a four-way pot to the flop of {6-Clubs} {5-Spades} {3-Hearts} and one player moved all in for 14,800 chips. Aleksandr Gukov called all in from one seat over with 14,025 chips and the other two opponents folded.

Opponent: {5-Hearts} {8-Hearts}
Gukov: {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades}

The {7-Spades} turn and the {A-Hearts} river changed nothing and the opponent of Gukov was left with next to no chips, which disappeared one hand later.

Pavliuk with Trips

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

After two limps and a raise, Roman Pavliuk reraised to 1,000 out of the big blind and was called by Fuat Tanindi as well as Miltiadis Kyriakides. On the {K-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {8-Clubs} flop, Pavliuk bet 2,000 and only Tanindi called before both players checked through the {K-Clubs} on the turn.

The {9-Diamonds} river completed the board and Pavliuk bet 3,000, Tanindi called and then mucked when getting shown {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} for trips kings. The finalist of the LEI Main Event had to vent and left the table for a quick mental break.
