Triple Up for Minaev

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Ercan Olgun had won a pot off Michael Mizrachi again and then raised to 12,000 from under the gun. Sergey Minaev moved all in for 28,000 from the button and Mizrachi called out of the big blind, so did Olgun. Both checked down the {5-Hearts} {2-Spades} {9-Clubs} {9-Spades} {8-Hearts} board and Mizrachi's {A-Clubs} {7-Clubs} as well as Olgun's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} could not score the knockout. Minaev turned over {8-Spades} {8-Diamonds} for a full house and tripled up.

Shortly after, Olgun got involved in a hand with F.S. and tried to bluff the river of a queen-high board, but F.S. called with {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds} and the eight on the river. Olgun was ahead until the final community card but his {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} only came out second best.

Alper Kostem Eliminated in 20th Place (€3,600)

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Alper Kostem
Alper Kostem

Alper Kostem raised to 11,000 and got called by Vasili Kostem to see the flop of {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {J-Clubs}. A continuation bet of Kostem was called because they both got it in after a raising war on the {2-Diamonds} turn. Kostem held {A-Spades} {K-Spades} and Kesnin turned over {K-} {Q-} for the weaker kicker but additional gutshot straight draw.

It wasn't one of the four tens in the deck but a queen on the river that sent Kostem to the rail in 20th place for €3,600.

Tick Tock

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Michael Mizrachi raised to 8,000 and called the three-bet of Ivan Luca from the hijack, so did Vitalii Grekul on the button. On the {10-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} flop all players checked and Mizrachi bet 25,000 on the {8-Spades} turn. Neither opponent folded and the three of them saw the {A-Diamonds} river.

Mizrachi checked and Luca tanked for minutes. The American called time on him and with 10 seconds to go, Luca bet 52,000 with little behind. Grekul and Mizrachi both folded.

Jam Deluxe

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a raise by Carl Maertzen and Michael Mizrachi as well as Ivan Luca getting involved, they headed three-way to the flop of {3-Spades} {5-Spades} {7-Diamonds}. Luca checked from the big blind and Maertzen did so from the cutoff. Mizrachi bet 21,000 on the button and Luca check-raised to 49,500.

Maertzen had even more interesting plans and now moved all in himself for 164,000. Mizrachi quickly folded whereas the Argentinian took longer for the same result.

Dimitar Yosifov Eliminated in 21st Place (€3,600)

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dimitar Yosifov

After a raise to 8,000 by Kemal Sevevi, Dimitar Yosifov moved all in for 90,000 chips with {A-Spades} {8-Spades} and the initial raiser called with pocket kings. Yosifov could not catch an ace or sufficient spades to bow out in 21st place. The min-cash is worth €3,600 and Sevevi moves up into the top five chip counts.

Two For Two?!

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the {2-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {2-Clubs} turn, Carl Maertzen and Michael Mizrachi both committed 25,000 chips to the pot and the {J-Spades} completed the board. Maertzen checked and Mizrachi now bet 50,000. "That's a bad river for me, even ace-king now arrived."

"I don't have ace-king. Much better." Mizrachi replied. Eventually he enforced a fold and then flashed the {3-Clubs} {3-Clubs}. "That was my second bluff today. Two for two" added "The Grinder".

Daniele Mazzia is the Bubble Boy

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Daniele Mazzia
Daniele Mazzia

Daniele Mazzia moved all in for 22,500 chips from early position and was called by Michael Mizrachi before Atanas Kavrakov in the small blind moved all in over the top. The more than 170,000 chips were too much for the American and he folded. Once the action on all other tables was completed, the following showdown took place:

Mazzia: {K-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Kavrakov: {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades} {7-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {A-Clubs} to let the bubble burst, all remaining players are now guaranteed at least €3,600.

Mizrachi (Ab)uses the Bubble

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a raise and a three-bet, Michael Mizrachi and Ercan Olgun got involved into a massive pot post-flop with the community cards reading {3-} {3-} {8-}. Mizrachi bet 40,000 and Olgun clicked it to 100,000 before folding to the squeeze of the American to 160,000.

"The Grinder" showed {J-} {10-} for jack-high .....

First All In but no Call

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Carl Maertzen squeezed into a raise and three-bet but neither opponent was willing to call the shove for 170,000, thus continuing with the hand-for-hand mode.
