First 3 Hands Without Action

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

No major action has taken place so far. Dimitar Yosifov won a medium-sized pot with {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} against the {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} of Kemal Sevevi after both had hit their kicker on the flop and turn, respectively.

Maitanies Busts Two to the Money

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ivan Luca raised from early position and called the all in of Giorgos Maitanies for 27,000 with {J-Clubs} {6-Clubs}. The Cypriot had pocket tens and was sent to the rail after both the turn and river produced a six to give Luca runner runner trips.

Melkistian Busts to Grekul

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Ara Melkistian
Ara Melkistian

Ara Melkistian opened from under the gun and was called by Ercan Olgun and Vitalii Grekul in the big blind. On the {9-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {10-Hearts} flop, Grekul checked, Melkistian bet 11,000 and Olgun called. Grekul now check-raised to 31,000 and called all in after the push from Melkistian, Olgun mucked.

Grekul: {J-Clubs} {8-Clubs}
Melkistian: {Q-} {J-}

Both players were on a draw, the {Q-Clubs} on the turn left Melkistian already drawing dead though. The {8-Hearts} river ended the tournament for Melkistian officially and he stormed off just shy of the dinner break.

Naydenov's Second Nuts are no Good

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Simeon Naydenov
Simeon Naydenov

Onur Unsal raised from the button and was called by Simeon Naydenov and Michael Mizrachi in the blinds. On the {9-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} flop, Mizrachi bet 8,000 and Unsal raised to 20,500. Naydenov moved all in for 80,000 and "The Grinder" tank-folded whereas Unsal made the call.

Naydenov: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}
Unsal: {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}

A diamond would be no good for the World Series of Poker bracelet winner from Bulgaria and the worst case scenario materialized with the {K-Diamonds} on the turn. The {J-Clubs} river was already meaningless and the comeback story of Unsal becomes more and more of a thing.

Garbarino With Unfortunate Timing

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Stefano Garbarino
Stefano Garbarino

After a raise and a three-bet, Stefano Garbarino moved all in out of the small blind with {A-} {K-} and had the most unfortunate timing, as Majid Ejlal Noubarian found pocket aces one seat over. Both other players got out of the way and the Italian even had a flush draw on the turn, but the miracle never happened.

Michael Mizrachi is still the overall chip leader and currently sits around 700,000 in chips on the very same table.

Sheptytskyi's Kicker is too Weak

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Ivan Sheptytskyi
Ivan Sheptytskyi

The entire action escaped us, but Ivan Sheptytskyi was all in with a very short stack against two other players and Barny Boatman bet the turn of a {2-Hearts} {10-Spades} {9-Spades} {4-Hearts} board to isolate, though the main pot was tiny. The other player folded and Boatman's {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds} had the better kicker compared to the {A-Hearts} {3-Spades} of the Ukrainian.

A five would have given Sheptytskyi the straight and chop outs were there also, however the {7-Spades} on the river bricked and let the kicker play in favor of the Brit.

Yosifov Blows Up

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Dimitar Yosifov
Dimitar Yosifov

On the turn of a {8-Clubs} {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} board with 55,000 chips in the pot, Dimitar Yosifov bet 22,000. Kemal Sevevi raised to 77,000 and Yosifov eventually moved all in with the superior stack. Sevevi called off for 154,200 chips and turned over {4-Clubs} {6-Clubs} for middle pair, double gutshot and the flush draw.

Yosifov returned {K-Spades} {6-Spades} for king-high and the double gutshot, but he couldn't improve anymore as the {2-Diamonds} river was a brick.
