With just seventeen players remaining, already well in the money, the goal for the day is simple: lose nine more players and reach the final table of six. That's easier said than done though; the field is extremely strong and nobody is going to give it away today.
There's a Master Classics of Poker champion still in (David Boyaciyan), EPT winners from Greece (Sotirios Koutoupas) and Denmark (Frederik Brink Jensen), a WPT champ (Thomas Bichon), Austria's all time money earner (Josef Klinger), the best French female poker player (Gaelle Baumann) and an German extreme high roller in the lead with Fedor Holz. Holz's accomplishment include a WCOOP win for $1.3 million, EPT side event win and a Mega Poker Series win.
Levels will again be 90 minutes long today, starting at 4,000/8,000 with a 1,000 ante. PAfter each level there's a 15 minute break, with a 60-minute dinner break after the third level most likely. lay stops when there's just five players remaining. Play starts at 2 p.m. local time, so check back here in half an hour.
