The 23 Minute Break Again

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

The third and final starting day has reached the end of level four and all players have been sent on the usual 23-minute break. Almost 40 players busted thus far and can now enjoy the Friday night out at the cash game tables or casino games. Or at the bar.

All In Blind Madness

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

The table of Marc Kundler promised more action and it would not disappoint as his former opponent was all in blind from the button for 8,675 chips. The player in the big blind also announced to be all in blind for around 6,000 chips and John Nikas then moved all in for 13,925 chips. A fourth player tank-folded {A-} {10-} and the cards were tabled:

Nikas: {K-Spades} {J-Spades}
Button: {2-Diamonds} {2-Spades}
Big Blind: {5-Spades} {2-Hearts}

The {K-Clubs} {7-Spades} {K-Hearts} flop gave Nikas a tremendous lead and he would not have to fear any miracle anymore after the {3-Spades} turn and the {4-Clubs} river.

Spearing Scores Double

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

After a raise to 1,000 and a call, Martin Spearing called out of the small blind as well to see a three-way flop of {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. Spearing check-raised all in for 22,150 after the initial raiser had made a continuation bet of 2,000. The opponent asked for a count and then made call with the superior stack and {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}.

Spearing held the flush draw and middle pair with {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}. The {A-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but the {10-Diamonds} river gave Spearing a flush and left his opponent with only 6,500 chips behind.

Kundler Flops Nuts

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Marc Kundler received a full double up after flopping the nut straight with {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} on a board of {9-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {10-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {6-Spades}. His opponent then announced to be all in blind the next hand, which he did. Kundler had limped from the button but folded, the all in player showed his {9-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}.

Smirthwaite Pushes Out Citrone

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

After a multi-way pot to the flop of {3-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {K-Hearts}, Carlo Citrone bet 2,600 out of the cutoff and scared off at least three opponents before the action went back to Gareth Smirthwaite. The serial online qualifier, who won seats for each of the three flights on partypoker, check-raised all in for 15,300 and Citrone quickly folded.
