Ciancanelli Eliminated in Two Hands

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Teresio Ciancanelli defended his big blind against a raise by Michel Leibgorin on the button and check-called a bet of 15,000 on the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Ciancanelli checked, Leibgorin bet 20,000 and then faced a check-raise to 150,000 by Ciancanelli.

Leibgorin shoved for 310,000 and was quickly called to cre<te the following showdown.

Michel Leibgorin: {7-Spades}{5-Spades}
Teresio Ciancanelli: {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Despite turning the nut flush, Ciancanelli only had one out for the straight flush and the {4-Clubs} river was of no help.

Soon after, Ciancanelli got it in for the last six big blinds with {A-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Jean-Jacques Chantalat looked him up with the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The board came {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Spades} and Ciancanelli fell in 30th place.

Grabsi Gets There Against Leibgorin

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

In a three-bet pot with more than 160,000 in the middle already, a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} emerged. Malek Grabsi was all in for his last 113,000 and Michel Leibgorin called.

Malek Grabsi: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Michel Leibgorin: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The {2-Hearts} turn was a blank, but Grabsi had reason to smile when the {6-Diamonds} on the river improved him to a flush.

Lemonnier Fighting

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Julien Lemonnier is one of the remaining PMU.fr online qualifiers and he just opened to 22,000 twice before facing a three-bet by Aurelie Reard in the first hand and Pierrick Burban in the second hand. Both times the Frenchman folded before then three-bet shoving for 21 big blinds into an open raise by Burban. That shut down the action and the pot was sent to Lemonnier.

Pons Doubles Through Perez

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Perez opened the action with a raise to 23,000 and Fernando Pons moved all in for just over 20 big blinds. Perez gave it some thought and called for just shy of half the stack.

Fernando Pons: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Perez: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

While the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{3-Spades} flop gave Perez the lead, that changed on the {10-Hearts} turn and Perez was in need of a jack to avoid a setback. The blank {7-Hearts} river was of no help and the 2016 November Niner doubled.

Jos Busts to Cruz

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Anthony Cruz open-shoved the small blind for effectively 16 big blinds, as that's what Jos from Spain in the big blind had left. Jos called and the cards were turned over.

Jos: {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Anthony Cruz: {J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The flop of {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} gave Cruz two pair and Jos had a gutshot. Both the {4-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river were no help for the Spaniard and he bowed out in 28th place.

Laudicina Sent to the Rail

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Alexandra Laudicina (left) has been eliminated
Alexandra Laudicina (left) has been eliminated

Two action hands in a row saw Alexandra Laudicina bust and Damien Lhommeau rake in a three-bet pot.

The cards were all but rushed away and Laudicina headed to the payout desk, while Pierre Barthelemy and Cedric D were kind enough to provide the details. Cedric D had raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Laudicina called on the button. On the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, both players checked and Cedric D shoved the {Q-} turn with {A-}{10-} for two pair. Laudicina called for her last 95,000 with {Q-}{J-} for middle pair and a gutshot, and the river bricked off.

Then, Tsunamy raised to 27,000 in the hijack and Lhommeau three-bet to 68,000 on the button. The flop came {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Tsunamy's check was met with a bet of the very same sizing by Lhommeau, 68,000, which shut down all further action.
