Ajay Kumar opened to 700 and got one call before a third player three-bet to 2,200 from late position. The button and blinds all folded before Kumar four-bet all in for 12,600. The caller folded and the other player in the hand asked for a count before calling.

The river was the {4-Diamonds}. [Removed:550] checked and after 30 seconds or so, his opponent checked behind.

"King-high," said [Removed:550] showing {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} and his opponent winced, shook his head, and mucked.

Sitting fourth on the Indian all-time money list is Raghav Bansal. He is closing in on $1m in live cashes after a series of High Roller scores in Macau. Earlier this year he also finished 21st out of 7,361 players in the WSOP Millionaire Maker.

Also in the field is Sahil [Removed:550]. Unrelated to Indian star [Removed:532], Sahil recently cashed in the WPT Vietnam Main Event.

Sethi Joins the Field; Patni Down from Starting

Two big names in Indian poker, Kunal Patni and PokerStars Team Pro Muskan Sethi are seated at the same table.

Sethi has had success here in Goa before, finishing fifth earlier this year in an Adda52 High Roller for around $7,000.

Meanwhile in this tournament she has starting stack, while Patni is down somewhat. He check-called 1,400 on a {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board only for his opponent to show {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker.

Kunal Patni finished third in the WPTDeepStacks Berlin Main Event at the start of the year, and he's back in his native India in time for the 2018 WPT stop there. Last year he cashed twice, and will be looking to add on it after a successful year including a string of cashes in the United States over the summer.

Also in the field is Adda52 Celebrity pro Minissha Lamba. Lamba has appeared in several notable Hindi films since making her debut in 2005. She has made several appearances in India’s premier tournaments including India Poker Championship (IPC) & Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT)

Munsaf's Stack Takes an Early Knock

On a {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board, the player in the small blind bet 3,800 into a pot approaching 5,000 and opponent Meherzad Munsaf called.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Munsaf's opponent bet 5,600. Munsaf took a moment before calling, turning over {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for two pair.

However, his opponent held {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a better two pair and took down the pot.
