The Day 1c field has been cut down to only 196 hopefuls, all of which hope to be among the top 75 finishers to advance to the money stages. In the meanwhile, Day 1d has gained momentum with now up to 316 entries in level three and some 302 players remaining.

Yao-Hsien Chang was all-in for only 8,000 in chips and called by two larger stacks in Kunal Punjwani and Dengdong Huang. The two active players checked down the 8♠3♦2♠J♣4♥ board and Punjwani tabled the A♣4♣ for a pair of fours.
Chang was ahead with the K♦J♥ and the K♥6♥ of Huang were no threat either.
Down to just around the starting stack, Romit Advani three-bet jammed with the K♥Q♥ from the small blind. Phataraprasit Trin called with the superior A♥Q♠ and had Advani drawing dead on the turn of a A♠3♦2♣9♣2♦ runout.
Nicholas Teoh was all-in for only 30,500 with the 5♠5♦ and needed a lot of help, as Tsan Wa Li had him crushed with the K♥K♣.
The Q♣5♣5♥10♠2♥ board delivered not one but both of the remaining fives for quads to double.
Peng Zheng was all-in with a severe short stack and the same also applied for Michael Sideridis, both well covered by Xinyue Zhang.

The pocket pair remained ahead all the way on the J♣10♦3♠5♥A♠ board to send two opponents out with the flopped set of jacks.
Just before their table broke, Edmund Lau earned two double ups through Aimkhot Thanadon.
The first one came with Q♥10♥ versus A♣5♠ for a short stack when he made trips on the K♠Q♠8♥Q♣J♠ runout.
He then jammed for 53,000 and Thanadon went over the top to isolate.
