Bou Habib Makes A Big Fold

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Walid Bou Habib opened to 35,000 from the cutoff and usually this would take down the blinds and antes without much of a fight; but not this time.

On this occasion he found callers in the shape of Erik Cajelais (button), Ran Azor (small blind) and Joseph El Khoury (big blind). The quartet shared a flop reading {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and the action checked around Cajelais who bet 48,000. Azor and Bou Habib called and it was three-handed to the {10-Hearts} turn.

Again it was checked to Cajelais and he bet once more, this time increasing the size to 120,000. Azor paused for a few moments before moving all-in, covering both players. Bou Habib tank folded and Cajelias mucked his hand.

Bou Habib showed {A-Spades}{2-Spades} for top pair and a flush draw, a hand many of his table mates thought he should go with.
