Steve Dannenmann Doubles Through Bryan Devonshire

With the final board showing {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, Bryan Devonshire bet 2,000, Steve Dannenmann raised to 5,000, Devonshire moved all in, and Dannenmann immediately called. Devonshire showed {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for the king-high straight, but Dannenmann had {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the ace-high straight.

Devonshire asked how many chips Dannenmann had for the all in, and even though it was clearly only a handful, Dannenmann said, "Thirty-six thousand, four hundred and eighteen." Everyone laughed as the dealer counted out the proper amount of the river bet, which was 9,025.

After the hand, Devonshire was crippled down to 1,000 in chips, while Dannenmann doubled up to 24,000.
