2008 WSOP Circuit: Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas - Day 2

Welcome back to the world-famous Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino in sunny Las Vegas, NV for our continued coverage of the $5,000 Circuit Championship Event live from the Caesars' Poker Room. Play resumes this afternoon at 12:00 p.m. local time (PST) when the remaining 54 players return to the felt and begin to play down to a final table.

Max Reele finished Day 1 atop the leaderboard and will start the day with a field-leading 263,000 in chips. Nikolay Evdakov finds himself at the other end of the spectrum, bookending the field with just 12,100 in chips. Tournament pros Allen Cunningham, Mark Newhouse, Bill Edler, Alex Kravchenko and Ari 'BodogAri' Engel are all still alive in the field, as is Doug Lee, former WSOP Circuit Championship winner.
