Hello, Moto!

'Moto'
'Moto'
Motoyuki 'Moto' Mabuchi just took down a monster pot, crippling Tommy Vedes in the process. Vedes opened the pot with a 15,000 pre-flop raise and Mabuchi was the lone caller. The flop came {3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and both players checked.

The {7-Spades} fell off on the turn and turned out to be the match that lit the fuse for the fireworks that followed: Mabuchi led out with a 20,000 bet and Vedes countered with a raise, making it 56,000 total to go. Mabuchi then shoved the rest of his stack across the betting line and Vedes insta-called, tabling {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for trip nines; Mabuchi flipped over a wired pair of sevens, which was good for a full house. The river brought an inconsequential {Q-Spades} and Mabuchi raked in the 380,000 pot.

Vedes was left with just 14,000 after the hand.
