New Level Added

The tournament director has decided to add an extra level of play. The blinds will now be 12,000/24,000 with a 3,000 ante instead of jumping to blinds of 15,000/30,000.

Sameer Al-Dbhany Doubles

Sameer Al-Dbhany is all in for 115,000 and Kyle Schertz calls. Sameer has {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Kyle has {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

The door card is the {K-Diamonds}, but the flop runs out {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Sameer let out a big "YES!" when the turn {A-Diamonds} gave him more outs, and the {10-Spades} river card gives Sameer a straight and he can hardly contain his excitement, doubling to 280,000. Kyle is down to his last 130,000.

The Wit of DeWitt

On a flop of {4-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Kyle Schertz, Tommy Koral, and Jason DeWitt all check.

The turn is the {K-Hearts} and Kyle bets 25,000. Tommy folds and Jason calls.

The river is the {J-Diamonds} and Kyle checks. Jason bets 60,000 and Kyle calls. Jason shows {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and takes the pot. He now has 820,000 and Kyle falls to 240,000.

Ravi Raghavan Doubles Up

From middle position, George Dietz makes it 50,000 and Ravi Raghavan re-raises to 141,000 and is all in. Goerge calls and flips over {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} while Ravi has {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

The board is {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Ravi doubles through in the short stack. He's now got 310,000 and George falls to the short stack with 195,000.

A Turn for the Worse

Jason DeWitt raises to 46,000 from early position, Tommy Koral re-raises from middle position to 118,000, and Jason calls.

The flop is {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and both players check. The turn is {J-Diamonds}, Jason bets 125,000, and Tommy folds.

Jason is up to 840,000 and Tommy has 455,000.

Gary Leibovitz Doubles Again

Gary Leibovitz is all in for 142,000 from under the gun and Steve Billirakis calls with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Gary shows {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and is behind.

The board runs out {3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Gary hits a two outer on the end (as another player folded a king) to double up to 305,000. Steve now has 770,000.

Another Pair

Steve Billirakis doesn't get any action on his pocket twos. After the kings, he had pocket sevens and also got no action. A lot of blinds and antes, but what a waste of good pocket pairs...
