Hoivold Hurting

Andreas Hoivold
Andreas Hoivold
It seemingly has not been a good day for Andreas Hoivold. He was shaking his head and talking to himself after being rivered in a recent pot. Hoivold bet 6,000 on the tun of a {3-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {j-Spades} {2-Hearts}. His out-of-position opponent called the bet after some thought.

The river was the {K-Clubs} and drew an immediate bet of 10,000 from the out-of-position player. Hoivold seemed frustrated by both the card and the bet but couldn't bring himself to fold. He called and was shown the nuts, {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. Hoivold flung his cards into the muck in disgust, his chip count slipping to about 15,000.
