Casetta Takes a Chunk from Lichtenberger

Dan Casetta
Dan Casetta
Dan Casetta limped from the small blind and Andrew Lichtenberger checked in the big blind. The flop came down {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Casetta fired 32,000. Lichtenberger called.

The turn card was the {7-Diamonds} and Casetta checked. Lichtenberger fired 26,000 and then Casetta check-raised to 78,000. Lichtenberger made the call.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and paired the board. Casetta fired 120,000 and Lichtenberger made the call. Casetta turned up the {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair, nines and sevens, with a king kicker. "I thought you might be doing that," said Lichtenberger, who mucked his hand and lost the pot.
