A Little Battle

Jonathan Little raised to 150 from late position and Justin Bonomo called out of the big blind. The two players took the flop of {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {2-Clubs} and checked the action.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and Bonomo bet. Little made the call.

The river was the {Q-Hearts} and Bonomo checked. Little made a bet of 1,000 and, after a minute or so of thought, Bonomo made the call.

Little showed {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs} for the winning hand.

Mark Seif Gets Flushed

Four players limped their way to a flop of {5-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {9-Hearts} and checked their way to the turn, which brought the {10-Hearts}. A player in late position finally bet out 225. Mark Seif was the only caller and the river brought the {J-Spades}.

Seif checked the river and then called a 500 river bet before mucking his hand after his opponent showed {J-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} for the flush.

Haxton's Bluff Fails

Catching up with action on the river, the five community cards were {A-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}. Isaac Haxton fired out 1,250 into a pot of around 2,000 chips. His lone opponent had position and was in the tank.

Eventually, Haxton's opponent made the call. With a smirk and a nod, Haxton turned up {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts} for queen high. His opponent waited to see Haxton's hole cards and then showed {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} for king high.

"Great call," commented another player at the table.

"Sick call," said another.

Liebert Loses to a Full House

Kathy Liebert was involved in a hand with the board reading {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades} {8-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}. On the turn, Liebert bet 400 into her lone opponent, who made the call in position.

The river brought the {9-Clubs} and Liebert slowed down with a check. Her opponent fired out 975 and Kathy made the call. Her opponent tabled {K-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} for a full house and Liebert mucked her hand.

Anticipation

The weather outside is gorgeous, but it's the atmosphere inside of Caesars Palace that we're concerned about. We're just about a half an hour away from the start of the action here in Las Vegas for the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit.

The anticipation is building here in the tournament room and the players are slowly starting to file in by the numbers. A few last-minute satellites are also finishing up and the line at the cage is a constant eight to ten people deep.

Stay tuned for the action to come very shortly from right here in Las Vegas!

Greetings from Caesars Palace!

Join us at noon PT today as action gets underway in the World Series of Poker Circuit No-Limit Hold'em Championship from the tournament room at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The Circuit stop at Caesars Palace traditionally draws perhaps the strongest of all fields, with several hundred players expected to attend.

Last year's WSOP-C Caesars Championship Event attracted 334 players, with long-time tournament professional Allen Cunningham logging the victory, emerging from a tough final table that also included Justin Bonomo, Ben Fineman, and Ralph Perry. Cunningham bested Fineman in heads-up play to take the title and the $499,162 first-place prize!
