Day 2 Concludes

Chipleader Matt Stout
Chipleader Matt Stout
That's all she wrote folks. What began with 27 players this afternoon has been whittled down to just nine, barely three hours later.

David Dao was the tall stack to start the day, and he managed to ride that stack all the way into Day Three tomorrow. Unfortunately for him, he lost a few chips overall today, and he will begin as one of the short stacks. The good news is that all nine remaining players are well within contention.

Matt "Allinat420" Stout may have something to say about that though. He certainly stole the show today. Beginning play second in chips, it was hardly any time at all before he put his name firmly atop the board. Once he got there, he would not look back. Stout has become the first player to crest 1,000,000 in chips! In fact, he will take very nearly one third of the chips on the table into battle tomorrow. There's no doubt that the other eight players have their work cut out.

It's useless to speculate; we'll find out all of our answers tomorrow. We hope you'll join us at 2:00pm CST on Wednesday as we crown our champion here at the 2009 WSOP-C Tunica. Until then, goodnight from Harrah's!
