Brady Straightens Out Opponent

With the board reading {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Matt Brady bet 2,025 and was called by his opponent in the hand. The {2-Hearts} fell on the river and Brady fired again, this time for 5,675. His opponent called, but mucked when Brady tabled {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for the nut straight.

The Battle of Big Slicks

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

A player in middle position opened to 650, and Ari Engel three-bet to 3,050 right next door. The initial raiser was the only caller, and the two men went off to a {9-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} flop. The unknown gentleman promptly pushed all in for 8,950, and Engel took about two minutes to consider before splashing in the call for about half of his own stack.

Showdown
Engel: {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades} {K-Spades}

It was going to be a split pot unless Engel could find running diamonds. They were both red, but the turn {9-Hearts} and river {10-Diamonds} means the two men take their money back and chop up the blinds on the last hand of the level.
