Bob Talbot raised to 15,000 from the button only to have the player in the big blind move all in for 21,700 more. Talbot called and the cards were turned up:

Talbot was in bad shape but picked up a flush draw when the flop came down . The on the turn left Talbot needing a club or queen on the river, but it was not meant to be as the hit. Talbot was left with just 8,700.
On the very next hand, a player in middle position limped, the hijack raised to 17,400, and Talbot called off for 8,400. The rest of the player got out of the way and the cards were flipped:

It was a classic race as the flop fell . Talbot was still behind, but that all changed when the spiked on the turn. The was put out on the river and Talbot got a much needed double to a little over 17,000.
With the eliminations come broken tables; as such, one table in the room has become one of the toughest in the tournament. Table 4 is currently home to Traci Brown, La Sengphet, and Tommy Vedes. Lucky for them all, there is only one level left in the night and the Day 2 table redraw.
WSOPC Harrah's Tunica ring-winner Tripp Kirk raised to 4,600 from the cutoff and received a call from the player in the big blind. When the flop came down , the big blind checked, Kirk continuation bet 5,300, and the big blind check-raised to 20,000. Kirk snap-folded and left himself with 43,000.
Kyle Cartwright has earned 100 points (50 points for each of his wins) here at the WSOPC Harrah's Tunica. As far as we can tell, only two players have a chance of overtaking him in La Sengphet and Tripp Kirk. If either of those players finish fifth or better, they will be crowned Harrah's Tunica Casino Champion.
Kyle Cartwright has had a WSOPE Harrah's Tunica to dream of; in fact, his two wins in ring events will likely earn him the "Casino Champion" title and a spot in the National Championship. In the meantime, Cartwright was looking to add a third ring and his first Main Event title to his list of accomplishment. Unfortunately for him, it was not meant to be.
In what would be his last hand, Cartwright called an under-the-gun player's all-in bet. Cartwright was the one at risk for his last 21,600.

Cartwright was well ahead until the flop fell . The on the turn didn't help his cause and neither did the on the river. Cartwright's amazing WSOPC Harrah's Tunica run has come to an end.
We overheard Shaun Johnston during the break say that he will either end the day with 100,000 or 0. Unfortunately for Johnston, it turned out to be the latter.
From early position, Jeff Gibralter opened to 3,800. Action folded to Johnston in the big blind and he went all in for about 23,000 more. Gibralter took a few moments before calling with and had Johnston's drawing thin. The board ran out , bringing Johnston's tournament to an end.
Gibraler, meanwhile, is going strong with about 127,000.
Kevin Calenzo currently sits in second place on the WSOPC National Leaderboard with 167.5 points. While he is essentially a lock for the National Championship in May, Calenzo is still looking to add to that total here today. In a recent hand, Calezno raised to 3,600 from middle position only to have the big blind push all in. If Calenzo called, his tournament life would be at stake; instead, he opted to fold and hold on to his stack of 48,000, which was pretty healthy considering he'd been playing a short stack for much of the day.
