Kyle Cartwright has had an unbelievable WSOPC here in Tunica, winning two out of the nine ring events (not including the Main Event). His performance is likely to earn him the "Casino Champion" designation and a spot in the WSOPC National Championship come May. Unfortunately, Cartwright's luck seems to be fizzling here in the Main Event as he is down to 7,200.

The players are on their first ten-minute break of the day.
On a flop of , Mark "Pegasus" Smith bet 175 and inspired a bevy of folds from his opponents with the exception of the player in Seat 5. Both players proceeded to check the turn and Smith checked the river. Seat 5 took the opportunity to bet 800 and Smith quickly folded as he flashed the . Seat 5 reciprocated by showing the as he took down the small pot.
"I'm pacing myself," Smith joked. "But I'm getting ready to make a big run." He is still sitting around the starting stack of 20,000.
Traci Brown and Joel Merwick are seated side-by-side here in Tunica. If you recall, Brown was the second-place finisher in the Main Event at the previous WSOPC stop at Choctaw.
In a recent hand, five players saw a flop of and action checked to Brown in the cutoff. She bet 400, Merwick raised to 1,000 from the button, Seat 8 called, and Brown called the remaining 600. When the hit the turn, action really took off after action checked to Merwick and he bet 2,300 only to have Seat 8 respond with an all-in check-raise to 17,875. Brown was clearly perplexed but eventually moved all in herself for 19,100. Merwick was perhaps the most flabbergasted as he reluctantly folded.

Seat 8:
The table was clearly surprised Seat 8 had pushed with just a flush draw, which missed as the hit the river. "I win, wow!" Brown said in disbelief. Indeed she did, increasing her stack to around 45,000 in the process.
