Justin Smith - 19th Place

Mo' Shovin' - 1:10 PM

On two of the first three hands of play today, Mohsin Charanai has moved all in. He began the day with the shortest stack of 50,000 and moved up to about 80,000.

Kevin Dooley Eliminated in 24th Place ($19,400) - 1:12 PM

Kevin Dooley was our first casualty of the day. He moved all in with the {A-Spades}{4-Spades} and was called by David "Bakes" Baker holding the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

Baker flopped two pair on the flop of {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river the {7-Diamonds}, sending Dooley out the door in 24th place. Baker improved his stack to 390,000.

"Seventy-Six Trombones" - 1:15 PM

Steve Zolotow raised to 16,000 and chip leader Gabe Patgorski made the call to see the flop come down {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Zolotow fired 26,000 and Patgorski made the call. The turn card added the {2-Clubs} to the board and Zolotow fired 51,000. Patgorski called again.

The {5-Clubs} fell on the river and Zolotow wasn't about to slow down. He fired 76,000, announcing, "Seventy-six trombones." Patgorski folded his hand and Zolotow won the pot, improving his stack to 480,000.

Hartmann Doubles - 1:16 PM

From the hijack seat, Anthony Hartmann was all in for approximately 130,000. Justin "BoostedJ" Smith made the call from the cutoff seat and the hands were turned up.

Smith: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Hartmann: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Both players flopped a pair of aces when it came down {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}. After the {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {K-Clubs} on the river, Hartmann held the winner with two pair, aces and kings, and scooped in the pot. He doubled back to over 270,000 while Smith dropped to 360,000.

Busse Doubles - 1:21 PM

Shawn Busse was under the gun plus one and moved all in for 55,000. David "Bakes" Baker made the call from the big blind holding the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Busse held the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Baker had already eliminated one player today and was going for his second knockout here.

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the pocket sevens held for Busse, doubling him up and keeping him alive in the tournament.

Mohsin Charania Eliminated in 23rd Place ($19,400) - 1:22 PM

First in, Mohsin Charania moved all in for 64,000. David Adkison made the call from the button and everyone else folded. Charania was all in and at risk with the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. He didn't have the best hand at the time, but was plenty live against the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} for Adkison.

The flop was big for both players, but not big enough for Charania. It came down {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and although Charania flopped top and bottom pair, Adkison flopped a broadway straight. Charania needed to fill up on the turn or river, or back into a flush if he were to stick around.

The turn card was the {9-Diamonds} and then the river completed the board with the {3-Clubs}. Charania packed up his things and headed out the door in 23rd place while Adkison improved his stack by a little bit to 210,000.

Ryan Austin Eliminated in 22nd Place ($19,400) - 1:33 PM

Action moved around to Ryan Austin in the small blind and he moved all in for 49,000. David Adkison was in the big blind and had just busted Mohsin Charania a little bit ago. He made the call with the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Austin held the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

The board was rather uneventful when it ran out {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Austin hit the rail in 22nd place. With his eliminated, everyone left in the field moved up $4,278 in prize money.

Adam "Roothlus" Levy Eliminated in 21st Place ($22,678) - 1:38 PM

They're dropping fairly quickly over here in Hammond, Indiana. The field is now down to 20 players after the elimination of Adam "Roothlus" Levy in 21st place.

James Anderson opened with a raised to 15,000 from under the gun. Levy was in the hijack seat and reraised all in for 145,000. Anderson tanked, deciding whether or not to call the extra 130,000. Eventually he made the call and the hands were revealed.

Levy: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Anderson: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Levy was ahead going to the flop, but after it came down {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Anderson stormed to the front with a pair of queens. The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and then the river smacked the {4-Diamonds} on the felt and ended Levy's tournament. Anderson improved to 430,000 in chips while Levy was left with $22,678 in prize money for his finish.

Shawn Busse Eliminated in 20th Place ($22,678) - 1:41 PM

David "Bakes" Baker just got his second knockout of the day, sending Shawn Busse to the rail in 20th place. Baker raised to 15,000 from the button and Busse moved all in for 103,000 from the big blind. Baker made the call with the {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and had Busse's {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} dominated.

After a board of {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{J-Spades}, Baker's ace high with the nine kicker was the winning hand and he sent the WSOP gold bracelet winner Busse to the rail.

Baker moved to 415,000 in chips with 19 players remaining.

Lee Doubles Up - 1:50 PM

Bernard Lee raised to 16,000 from under the gun. Action moved around to Curt Kohlberg in the hijack seat and he reraised to 45,000. Lee moved all in for 159,000 and Kohlberg made the call.

Lee: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Kohlberg: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

A clean board of {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} ran out and Lee got the double. He's back to about 340,000 while Kohlberg dropped to 475,000.

Just a little interesting fact about Kohlberg, his last name means "Cauliflower mountain."

Paredes Beats Stammen - 1:55 PM

David Paredes fired 29,000 on the flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Keven Stammen raised to 75,000 and Paredes called.

The turn card was the {6-Clubs} and Paredes checked. Stammen checked behind to see the {Q-Spades} hit the river. Paredes checked and Stammen fired out 100,000. Paredes made the call with the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Stammen mucked. Paredes moved to 660,000 while Stammen dropped to 105,000.

Justin "BoostedJ" Smith Eliminated in 19th Place ($22,678) - 2:00 PM

Justin "BoostedJ" Smith raised from the hijack seat and made it 14,000 to go. Curt Kohlberg reraised to 45,000 from the small blind and Smith made the call. The flop came down {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Kohlberg fired out 100,000. Smith tanked and then moved all in for about 350,000. Kohlberg made the call.

Smith: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Kohlberg: {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Smith had run his better preflop hand into Kohlberg's two pair on the flop. He needed help on the turn or river, but couldn't find it when the dealer put the {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river. Smith hit the rail in 19th place while Kohlberg jumped to 890,000 in chips and the chip lead.

Sands Doubles Through Baker - 2:01 PM

David "Bakes" Baker raised and Dave "Doc" Sands reraised. Baker moved all in and Sands tank-called with the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. Baker held two tens.

The board ran through {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Sands doubled to 530,000 while Baker was knocked back to 315,000.

Keven Stammen Eliminated in 18th Place ($26,882) - 2:02 PM

Before the final 18 players could go through the redraw process down to two tables, Keven Stammen hit the rail in 18th place. He shipped from the small blind for approximately 100,000 after Shannon Shorr raised to 15,000 from the button. Shorr called it off with the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. Stammen was all in with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for the classic race situation.

The flop gave Shorr a big lead when it came down {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, landing him a set of queens. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and then the river the {Q-Hearts}. Shorr made quad ladies and sent Stammen out the door in 18th place.

The three players saw the flop come down {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Julius was up first. He checked and Perper checked. Patgorski fired 24,000 and then Julius shipped all in for 120,000. Perper made the call and Patgorski folded. Julius tabled the {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}, having made a move at the pot, but he ran into the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for top set that Perper held.
