Miguel Borrero Eliminated in 18th Place ($5,081)

Miguel Borrero - 18th Place
Miguel Borrero - 18th Place

Mike Foster began this doozie of a hand with a raise to 35,000 from middle position. Ilias Kellikidis made the call from the hijack seat and then Miguel Borrero looked down at his cards. He shipped all of his chips into the middle for an all-in bet worth 299,000 from the cutoff seat. Inthe next seat was John Holder and he reraised all in. After the blinds folded, Foster was back up and he tanked for several minutes with 231,000 in chips behind. Eventually, he folded his hand and then Kellikidis folded pocket fives behind him, leaving Borrero to battle with Holder.

It was Holder holding the best of it against Borrero with the {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} against Borrero's {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Holder held up with a pair of aces. Borrero stood next to the table, hands on his hips, shaking his head. Holder did in fact have him covered after the final count was verified just to be sure. Borrero was eliminated in 18th place for just over $5,000 while Holder shot up to about 700,000 in chips.
