Tough Table

Action folded to the player in the cutoff and he decided to raise to 2,200. The button folded and T.J. Cloutier quickly reraised to 8,000 from the small blind. The big blind mucked and the original raiser did as well. Cloutier chipped up to around 25,000.

As he was stacking his newly won chips, Aaron Brandt was moved to his table. Between Brandt, Cloutier and Will "Monkey" Souther, this has to be one of the toughest tables in the room.

Crawford Moves All In

Action folded to the player on the button and he put in a small raise. Claudia Crawford called from the big blind to create a preflop pot of about 5,000. Both players then checked the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop.

When the {Q-Spades} hit the turn, Crawford moved all in for her last 7,000. The button called and showed {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for a double-gutted straight draw. Crawford turned up {7-Spades}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights and it was down to the river. The dealer burned and flipped the {7-Clubs}, giving Crawford two pair and the double. She now sits with around 19,000.

Kennedy's Aces Hold

Just before the dinner break, a wild hand occurred resulting in Linda Kennedy upping her stack about 60,000.

She raised to 2,175 under the gun and a player in middle position went all in for 6,875. Claudia Crawford popped it to 25,000 from the hijack and the player on the button called all in. Action was back on Kennedy and she called all in as well.

Kennedy: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Middle Position: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Crawford: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Button: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board ran out a safe {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for Kennedy. Crawford dropped to about 27,000.

Cloutier Doubles With King High

On the button, T.J. Cloutier called a raise of 1,600 from a player in middle position. Both blinds called as well and the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}.

It was checked to the player in the big blind and he bet 5,000. The player in middle position folded and Cloutier went all in for just another 5,200. Will Souther folded from the small blind and the player in the big blind called.

Cloutier: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Big Blind: {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Both had draws and Cloutier's high cards played as the {3-Diamonds} turn card and {5-Clubs} river card did not help his opponent.

Cloutier is up to about 27,000.

Nice River for Barrow

There was quite the commotion at one of the far tables so we made our way over. When we arrived we learned there was a three-way all in with a board reading {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The first player showed {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} while David Barrow showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. However, both players were behind the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} of Seat 4.

The {2-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing and barring a paint card on the river, Seat 4 would win a pot worth about 55,000. The table held their collective breath as the {K-Spades} hit the river. Barrow caught his card to scoop the pot while Seat 4 was eliminated from the tournament.

More Monkey Business

Will "Monkey" Souther, who was in the cutoff, and the player in the big blind each put in 6,300 preflop and saw a flop of {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Both players checked and the dealer turned the {Q-Spades}. After the big blind checked Souther bet 2,200.

After a call, the river came the {Q-Diamonds} and both players checked. "Ace high," said Souther as he flipped {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Apparently it was good as the big blind mucked. Souther is up to 23,000.
