Flush Over Flush In The Blinds
It was a battle of the blinds with Kevin Calenzo in the small blind and Nicholas Wilbur in the big blind. Preflop, Calenzo completed and Wilbur checked his option.
The flop was 
and while we don't know the flop action, the turn and river were exciting enough to make this a potentially-big turning point in the tournament. The dealer placed the 
down on the turn and Calenzo checked. Wilbur fired out 100,000 before Calenzo clicked it back to 200,000. Wilbur made the call.
The river was the 
and Calenzo led for 251,000. After some thought, Wilbur stuck in the chips as he seemed to almost know he was beat. Sure enough, Calenzo tabled 
for a flush. Wilbur showed a flush himself as he tossed in his cards to the muck.

Riha Value Towns Fielder
On a 
board, Jeff Fielder checked to Brandon Riha and he fired out 67,000. Fielder thought for a bit and pushed in the call.

Igor Grinevski Eliminated in 13th Place ($12,088)
While we were still reeling from the Jeff Madsen Rellie Sigua hand, there was another big hand developing on the other table between Igor Grinevski and Brandon Riha. We caught he action on the turn, with the board reading 
. Grinevski led out for 70,000, and Riha made the call. The hit the river, and Grinevski moved all in for about 300,000 relatively quickly. It took even less time for Riha to make the call, and he tabled 
. Grinevski said "nice call" and showed 
for a lesser kicker. Riha scooped the pot, upping him back to over 800,000.

Rellie Sigua Eliminated in 14th Place ($12,088)
Jeff Madsen was on the button and opened the pot with a raise to 52,000. Rellie Sigua was the only caller out of the big blind.
The flop was 
. Sigua checked and Madsen moved his opponent all in for his last 300,000 or so. Sigua snap-called and quickly tabled 
. Madsen turned over 
and was clearly in bad shape. "No diamonds," Sigua pleaded to the dealer.
The turn brought the and you could just feel it in the air that it was Madsen's pot to win. The river was the , which lead to an eruption from the entire table, the rail and some nearby tables that were leaning over to catch the action.

Jonas Mackoff Eliminated in 15th Place ($12,088)
Jonas Mackoff moved all in from middle position for his final 380,000. Action folded to Kevin Calenzo in the big blind who immediately realized he had a big decision to make. Calenzo counted out his chips a couple of times, stacked out the necessary chips to call and thought some more. Eventually, he came out of the tank and called to put Mackoff at risk.

Calenzo Doubles Through Wilbur
Kevin Calenzo was knocked down to the short stack thanks to Nicholas Wilbur earlier, but he exacted a bit of revenge as he has just doubled through him. Calenzo open shipped for 248,000 in middle position and it folded to Wilbur on the button, who thought for about 30 seconds before calling. The blinds folded and the cards were tabled.

Calenzo was in a world of hurt and he didn't get any help on the flop of 
. The 
on the turn meant that Calenzo needed a three-outer on the river to survive. Well, he got it as the slammed down on the river. Calenzo shot up out of his chair in celebration and a few members of the rail erupted in cheer, including one player on a nearby table in another tournament, who yelled "Ace of hearts!"
After the hand Calenzo is back over 500,000, while Wilbur dips back below two million.

Riha Getting Bullied
Brandon Riha shot to the top of the chip counts yesterday thanks to his relentless aggression. Today, he's been playing the same, but it seems like his tablemates are tired of getting pushed around.
In one hand, Joe Kuether raised to 50,000 under the gun and Riha reraised to 122,000. It folded back to Kuether, who assembled a raise of around 200,000 total. Riha didn't even bother to get a count, folding instantly.
A few hands later, Dutch Boyd came in for a raise to 49,000 and Riha reraised again, this time to 107,000. Boyd tanked for about 30 seconds before announcing raise. He put in the chips to match the raise, then slid in 250,000 more. Again, Riha wasted little time in getting rid of his cards.
We will keep an eye on him to see if he keeps up this plan, or tightens up as a result.

Mack Mangles Madsen
We missed the preflop action, but Ian Mack and Jeff Madsen were heads up on a flop of . Mack checked in the small blind and Madsen bet out 71,000. Mack assembled some chips together, and slid in a check-raise to 220,000 total. Madsen took about 15 seconds to think it out, then slid in the call. The turn came the , and Mack went into the tank. Eventually, he assembled 260,000 and slid it in, leaving himself around 300,000 behind. Madsen thought for about a minute before flicking his cards toward the dealer, giving Mack the big pot.
