Wilbur Climbing

We picked up the action on this hand in a three-way pot on the {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Spades} board. Jeff Madsen had checked to Kevin Calenzo and he fired out 114,000. Nicholas Wilbur was waiting behind him and flatted the bet. Madsen decided to fold.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and Calenzo slowed down with a check. Wilbur took that opportunity to bet 215,000. Calenzo appeared frustrated and thought for a few minutes about his options. Eventually, he made the call and was upset to see the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of Wilbur. Calenzo flashed his cards to his rail and when he went to muck, the {q-Hearts} was exposed. He told the table that he had pocket queens.
