Ever since he was crippled a couple of hours ago, James Carroll has been grinding his short stack. Carroll was down to 20,000 when we caught this hand. He open shipped in early position, and it folded to the cutoff, who called after he got a count. The blinds folded, and the cards were flipped.

Well that was a big hand. We just caught a monster hand that has pushed Ryan Young towards the top of the chip counts. Action started with Kathy Liebert who raised to 4,000 under the gun. Ryan Young was next to act, and he called. The next player to act called, as well as the cutoff, and action folded around to the small blind. He shoved all in over the top for 50,000 exactly. The big blind asked for a count, tanked, then shoved all in himself for 44,000 after about a minute of thinking.
Liebert quickly folded, and action was back on Young, who asked for counts on both stacks. Young tanked for over two minutes, before announcing all in himself! The next player to act instantly called for a shorter stack, and the final caller folded. You still with us?

river was harmless.
"I hate when they say it before the last card. That's like the kiss of death!" Liebert joked.
On the first hand back from the break, James Carroll was able to double up, helping him get back into contention. The money went in preflop, and when the cards were tabled, Carroll saw that he was in dominating shape.
