As we made our latest run through of the tournament floor, we noticed that both Russell Rosenblum and Justin Young were no longer in their seats. Both have been eliminated from today's action.
Tim Acker called a raise to 1,275 from the hijack before the player on the button three-bet to 3,475. The initial raiser folded while Acker decided to see a flop.
The dealer spread out on the board and Acker checked. His opponent over-bet all in for his final 18,000 or so in chips. Acker quickly made the call.

The turn opened up the door with four more outs to complete the come-from-behind win, but the river dashed those dreams and allowed Acker to rake in the pot.
We picked up the action on a flop being contested three-ways. The preflop pot had built to about 9,000-chips.
The player in the small blind position led for 2,500 and was called by Alan Murphy. Then the player in the cutoff position raised to 8,000. The initial raiser laid his hand down before Murphy three-bet to 27,500. This forced his opponent to make a decision for his tournament life. In the end, he wasn't willing to take the risk and mucked his hand.
As we came to Gavin Griffin's table, we saw that he was in the middle of a big pot. There was about 12,000 already in the middle, on a board that read . Griffin was heads up with an opponent in the small blind, who fired out 6,500 on the turn. Griffin thought for about 20 seconds before tossing in the call, and they saw a river of . Griffin's opponent tanked for about 30 seconds, before electing to check. Griffin quickly checked behind, and the cards were turned up.

Griffin's suited connector paired up to beat his opponents ace queen, and Griffin dragged the pot to boost his stack to over 35,000.
As we've returned from the break, we notice that we lost a big name and also added one. David Williams sat down just over an hour ago, but his seat is already empty, meaning that he has been eliminated. We also saw that Joe Tehan, fresh off a cash in the $1,000 event that started yesterday, has taken his seat in this event.
We came to Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin's table and saw that he was heads up with an opponent on a flop. There was about 5,500 in the pot, and it was checked to Baldwin, who bet out 3,000. His opponent elected to check-minraise to 6,000, and Baldwin called. The turn brought the , and his opponent again checked to Baldwin, who fired out 6,000 this time. Again, his opponent counted out a minraise, and slid it into the pot. Baldwin chucked in the rest of his chips, 6,125 in total, and the cards were flipped.
Baldwin:
Opponent:
Baldwin was well ahead on the flop, but miles behind on the turn, as his opponent had made trip deuces. The meaningless river brought the , and Baldwin was eliminated from the tournament. Baldwin will have the chance to re-enter tomorrow
