Toye Eliminated in Monster Pot

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Bobby Toye

We heard a commotion at an outer table and we made our way over. From what we could piece together, Justin Wainscott had just taken down a monster pot to chip up to 300K. In the process, he also eliminated two opponents, including last year's runner-up Bobby Toye.

It happened when Wainscott held {A-}{A-}, Toye {A-}{K-} and an unknown player {Q-}{Q-}. An aces on the flop secured the pot for Wainscott, and he vaulted up the leaderboard while Toye's run came to a sudden halt.

Landry Loses; Land Takes a Hit

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

We just learned that Kai Landry has been eliminated from the tournament. His demise came after he got all in with {A-}{K-} only to run into the {A-}{A-} of his opponent.

Meanwhile, "Cowboy" John Land, who is also seated at the table, has taken a hit to his once big chip stack, though he is still sitting with an average stack of 80K.

Happy Mother's Day!

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Maurice Hawkins has one proud mother.
Maurice Hawkins has one proud mother.

Maurice Hawkins is the first player we've found to cross the 300,000 mark. He also informed us that his mother is following along from home. We know we're a week late for Mother's Day but we'd like to give his mom a 300,000 chip smile.

Happy Mother's Day!

Barnhart Busted by Todd

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Sam Barnhart has left the building.
Sam Barnhart has left the building.

Nancy Todd opened the action with a raise, Sam Barnhart moved all in with his short stack, the big blind called and Todd completed the action. Barnhart was all in and the other two had a side pot to be into.

The flop fell {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and both active players checked. The turn came {4-Hearts}, Todd bet 10,000 and the big blind called. The river came {2-Clubs}, Todd bet 15,000 and the big blind folded. Todd took the side pot, tabled {4-Clubs} {4-Spades} and Barnhart stood up to table {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} on his way out of the tournament.

Kim Vanishes

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Terry Kim was recently eliminated from the tournament after he was all in preflop holding {A-}{4-} and racing against the {2-}{2-} of his opponent. Unfortunately for Kim, the board would run out dry and he made a hasty exit from the tournament floor.
