Players are now on a 15-minute break while the tournament staff races off the black T100 chips.
We heard a commotion at an outer table and we made our way over. From what we could piece together, Justin Wainscott had just taken down a monster pot to chip up to 300K. In the process, he also eliminated two opponents, including last year's runner-up Bobby Toye.
It happened when Wainscott held , Toye and an unknown player . An aces on the flop secured the pot for Wainscott, and he vaulted up the leaderboard while Toye's run came to a sudden halt.
We just learned that Kai Landry has been eliminated from the tournament. His demise came after he got all in with only to run into the of his opponent.
Meanwhile, "Cowboy" John Land, who is also seated at the table, has taken a hit to his once big chip stack, though he is still sitting with an average stack of 80K.
In addition to the qualifiers, players who earn enough points on the National Leaderboard will also qualify for the National Championship:

Maurice Hawkins is the first player we've found to cross the 300,000 mark. He also informed us that his mother is following along from home. We know we're a week late for Mother's Day but we'd like to give his mom a 300,000 chip smile.
Happy Mother's Day!
We don't know the specifics, but former November Niner John Dolan's day has come to an end at the hands of Daniel Lowery.

Nancy Todd opened the action with a raise, Sam Barnhart moved all in with his short stack, the big blind called and Todd completed the action. Barnhart was all in and the other two had a side pot to be into.
The flop fell and both active players checked. The turn came , Todd bet 10,000 and the big blind called. The river came , Todd bet 15,000 and the big blind folded. Todd took the side pot, tabled and Barnhart stood up to table on his way out of the tournament.
Terry Kim was recently eliminated from the tournament after he was all in preflop holding and racing against the of his opponent. Unfortunately for Kim, the board would run out dry and he made a hasty exit from the tournament floor.
