One for Rose

In the last hand before the break, a player in early position limped and inspired Ron Rose to do the same from the small blind. The big blind checked his option and three players took a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Rose was first to act and immediately moved all in for around 7,000. The big blind quickly folded while the EP player gave it some thought before folding {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} face up. Rose then showed {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Even with that win, Rose is still extremely short with just 13,000.

Sengphet and Theriac Disappear

La Sengphet
La Sengphet

We're not sure of the details, but La Sengphet has been eliminated from the Main Event. Sengphet had played the second starting flight last night and busted, prompting her to take advantage of the late registration and re-enter before the start of Day 2, an option available to those who played only Day 1b.

In other news, Al Theriac has also been eliminated from the tournament.
