Field Condensed to One Section

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Tournament officials have broken the ten or so tables that started on the far side of the room to one section. The field is spread across 15 tables and we believe 130 players remain of the 219 that started the day.

Tryba Runs Into Two Pair

Chris Tryba
Chris Tryba

We caught up to see Chris Tryba contemplating a call of his opponent's all in for 18,200. The board read {6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the call would have been for a majority of Tryba's stack.

Eventually Tryba smacked his chips down quickly and announced a call, tabling {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. However, he was way behind his opponents two pair with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The river came the {Q-Spades} and Tryba was knocked down to about 5,000 in chips.

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Libert's tens were able to hold. She sent her opponent toward the rail and boosted her stack to about 25,500.
