Day 1a of the WSOPC Biloxi Main Event has come to a close with 120 remaining players. The start of the day saw 219 players pony up the $1,600 buy in. Charlie Leroi ends play as the Day 1a chipleader with 128,000. He's followed closely by Greg Whitworth (85,500) and Stan James (83,000).
Allen Kessler and Matthew Chang were only a couple of the notables that survived the action and will move on to Day 2.
Notables did not fair well today. Many of them hit the rail including: Dwyte Pilgrim, John Dolan, Kathy Liebert, Chris Tryba, Matthew Waxman, Kyle Cartwright, Ryan Lenaghan and Jacob Bazely.
The surviving players will combine for Day 2, along with the remaining players from Day 1b. Day 1b will have cards in the air at 7 p.m. CST and Day 2 will get underway at noon on Sunday.

We caught up to see Chris Tryba contemplating a call of his opponent's all in for 18,200. The board read 
and the call would have been for a majority of Tryba's stack.
Eventually Tryba smacked his chips down quickly and announced a call, tabling

We came upon the action to see Kathy Liebert call a players all in. Liebert held
