Play has gone flying by today, and amazingly, we are one table away from the money. With only 20 minutes left before dinner, we don't expect to hit the money until after the break, but its poker: crazier things have happened.

Over at the feature table, we saw that Freddy Deeb was in a nice sized pot with Derek Gregury, so we went over to check it out. There was already about 30,000 in the pot with a flop of

. Both players checked, and the turn came the
. Deeb fired out 15,000, and Gregury called fairly quickly. The river brought the
, and this is where things got interesting.
Deeb cut out one stack of 20,000, then another, and put them together. He then put some blue T5,000 chips on top, and thought for about 30 more seconds. After about a minute of thought, Deeb announced all in for over 150,000. Gregury sat motionless in thought before asking for a count. Gregury then went deeeeeep into the tank, thinking for almost five minutes, all the while thinking in motionless silence. Finally, Gregury checked his cards, and slid them into the muck. Deeb collected the pot, and upped his stack to 217,000.

Brandon Crawford is back in the chiplead by the slightest of margins. He just picked up another pot on a board of
where he bet 18,000 and his opponent raised him 30,000 more. Crawford responded by shoving all in and his opponent quickly gave up his hand.

The field has been reduced to only nine tables and 81 players. It appears we'll be making the money sometime shortly after returning from the dinner break.
We saw two players standing up looking exasperated at Leroy Spires table and the dealer pushing a mountain of chips in Spires' direction. He snap-called two all ins preflop and had both players covered.

The board ran
and Spires' two black jacks held. He snatched the chiplead away from Brandon Crawford only moments after Crawford had taken it.

Brandon Crawford was first in the pot in middle position with a raise to 8,500. The button called, and the small blind squeezed, making it 32,500 total. Crawford took about 15 seconds before counting out a raise to 60,000 total. His opponent thought for about 20 seconds before giving his hand up, and Crawford showed

Freddy Deeb took a couple hits to his stack before the break and now he's seated at the feature table. In short order he has chipped up to almost 130,000.
In the last hand he opened for 9,000 and the player in the big blind called. The flop came
, the big blind checked and Deeb nonchalantly tossed out 10,000. The big blind folded and Deeb looks to be taking control of his new table.

We reported earlier that Thor Hansen had taken a hit to his stack, but now the seasoned vet has found is back in the six figure club. The player under the gun raised to 6,500, and the next player to act called. Action folded to Hansen on the button who shoved all in for 34,000 on top of the original raise. The big blind went deep into the tank, so much so that the clock was called on him. The clock ran all the way down, meaning his hand was dead, and action was back on the original raiser. He made the call, and the other player folded. The cards were flipped, and Hansen was in great shape.

The board ran out a safe

, and Hansen secured the double up, moving him just over 100,000.
