The field is going on a break.
Andrew Youngblood open shoved his last 139,000 from under the gun, and action folded around to Chris Summers in middle position. Without getting a count, Summers made a rather quick call. Everyone else folded, and the two players flipped their cards up.

Youngblood was way behind, but roared into the lead when the flop came out , giving Youngblood top set. The turn came the , bringing some chop outs but keeping Youngblood in the lead. That was until the slammed down on the river. Youngblood shot up out of his chair, shook hands with a couple players, and made his way to the exits. Louis Lo was up against Freddy Deeb on a flop of . Deeb checked and Lo bet 23,000. Deeb raised pretty quickly to 83,000 and sent Lo into the tank.
Lo eyed Deeb's stack and said, "You've got about 350,000 behind, right?"
Deeb smiled and quickly counted his stack. Lo tanked a little longer and then folded his hand.
Deeb tossed his cards face up onto the table and showed , "See those, that's the best hand. There's a difference between bluffing and knowing."
Indeed there is Freddy, indeed.
Ammm...we can hardly believe the hand that we just saw. We walked up to the table with David Singontiko to see that he was heads up in a huge pot. The board was already dealt out, reading , and there was around 300,000 already in the pot. Singontiko counted out a massive bet of 180,000, and the action was on his opponent, who had around 360,000 left. He decided to move all in, and Singontiko instantly called, showing for the nut straight. His opponent grunted in anger, and showed.... for ace high!? The whole table was left in shock, as Singtontiko dragged what was easily the biggest pot of the tournament. After the hand, he is now sitting on a ridiculous 1.2 million.

Tables have been breaking fast and Alec Torelli, Brandon Crawford and Leroy Spires are all seated next to each other. That makes three of the biggest stacks in the room next to each other. We thought we have heard the table creaking under the weight of all those chips in the corner.
Freedy Deeb raised in early position to 16,000, and a short stack, who only had 15,000 left, called off the rest of his stack. Everyone else folded, and the cards were flipped up.
Deeb:
Opponent:
Deeb was well out in front, and he had a stranglehold on the hand after the flop came out . His opponent would need runner runner to survive, but he wouldn't get it, as the turn and river came the and . After the hand, Deeb is sitting on around 400,000.

Before hand-for-hand play Steve Brecher and tournament officials came to a compromise concerning him not showing his hole cards. After not heeding a few requests from staff Brecher was assessed a one hand penalty. He accepted the penalty and then returned to his seat.
On the next hand he played Brecher again didn't show his hole cards. One of the floor staff informed him, after consulting other staff, as well as, the tournament director, that the penalties would increase incrementally - the next would be one orbit, then two orbits and eventually a possible DQ from the tournament.
Brecher did not want to make a big show but was not showing based on principle. They came to a compromise where Brecher would not put his cards over the sensor but if the dealer put the cards there he would let them sit there for a moment. All parties seem to be happy with the compromise.
