Well that didn't take long. After the first hand back from the break, we have gotten to heads up play. We caught the action on the turn with the board reading . Freddy Deeb bet out 400,000, and the action was to Leroy Spires. He raised it up to a cool 1 million, and it was back to Deeb. He thought for about 30 seconds before pushing all in, and Spires called instantly.
Deeb:
Spires:
Deeb had flopped a set, but it had fallen behind the turned flush of Spires. Deeb would need the board to pair to win the hand, and the river brought.....the ! Deeb got a full house on the river, eliminating Spires in the process. Deeb is now heads up with Alex Masek, holding about 70% of the chips in play.
Freddy Deeb opened for 175,000 and Leroy Spires called. The flop came and Spires check-called 300,000. The turn brought the , Spires bet 500,000 and Deeb moved all in. Spires called and Deeb asked if he had anything.
"No, just a draw," Spires said and tabled .

David Singontiko started the action by raising to 135,000 on the button. It folded to Leroy Spires in the big blind, who reraised to 360,000. Singontiko put together the call, slid it in, and we were off to a flop.
That flop came , and Spires slid out an even 500,000. Singontiko made the call, and the turn came the . Spires moved all in fairly quickly, and Singontiko call, also fairly quickly. The cards were flipped, and Singontiko was in rough shape.
Spires:
Singontiko:
Singontiko would need a ten, nine, or eight to keep going in the tournament, but it wasn't meant to be, as the hit the river. Spires collected the pot, while Singontiko hit the rail. The future certainly seems bright for this young gun. He is only 21 years old, and already has a WSOP bracelet to his name, in addition to this deep run. He will certainly be a player to keep an eye on for the rest of the year.
Tong Le was crippled in a hand just a few minutes ago against Leroy Spires, and he quickly found himself all in preflop. Le shoved his small stack in, and Freddy Deeb made the call. The cards were flipped, and Le was in rough shape.
Tong Le:
Freddy Deeb:
The flop came out , giving Le alittle bit of help. He would still need to pair his seven or get another three to win, and he wouldn't get it on the turn, the , or the river, . Deeb collected the bounty, and local favorite Tong Le hit the rail.
Alex Masek started the action by raising under the gun to 155,000. Tong Le was next to act, and he made it 490,000 to go. Leroy Spires was next to act, and he very quickly moved all in for 1.125 million! It folded back around to Masek, who tanked for about a minute before folding. It was back to Le, and after a few moments of thinking, he made the call.
Le:
Spires:
Spires would need some help to survive, and he got a ton of it on the flop, as it came . The turn brought the , giving Le outs to chop the pot. The river came the , and Spires secured the double up, while Le was knocked down to 540,000.
We caught the action on the turn with Alex Masek and Freddy Deeb heads up. The board read , and action was on Masek, who bet out 220,000. Deeb made the call, and they saw a river of . Masek slowly put together a monster bet, and slid it across the betting line. It amounted to 580,000, and Deeb thought for about 20 seconds before calling. Masek showed for the nut straight, and Deeb folded. With that pot, Masek is now the chip leader, with a hair under 4 million, while Deeb is in trouble, with one million.
