Following two levels the field has been sent on their first break of the day.
Nick Phoenix opened up for 50,000, Leroy Spires called and Chris Summers re-raised from the small blind. Before Summers could get his raise in the pot Phoenix moved all in. Spires folded and Summers called.
Summers:

Phoenix:

The board ran
and Phoenix smacked his hand on the felt and headed towards the cage.
Brian Yoon was fairly quiet throughout today, but he has just been eliminated after back to back tough hands. David Singontiko did most of the damage in the first hand. Singontiko raised in the cutoff, and Yoon announced himself all in on the button. The blinds folded, and Singontiko quickly called off his last 263,000. The cards were flipped, and Yoon was in rough shape.
Singontiko:

Yoon:

The flop came out all hearts, coming

. Both players had a heart, meaning Yoon would need a jack or ten to win the hand. The
on the turn cut those outs in half, and Yoon would need a miracle jack on the river to win. The river came the
, and Singontiko doubled up to 550,000, while Yoon was left with just 25,000.
On the next hand, Alex Masek raised to 35,000, and Yoon called all in for his last 25,000. Everyone else folded, and when the cards were flipped, Yoon saw that once again he was in rough shape.
Masek:

Yoon:

The flop came out

, and it was not looking good for Yoon. The turn came the
, adding a straight draw to his outs. However, the
on the river did not help him out. Masek won the pot, and Yoon headed to the rail.
Artin Faroukhians was crippled earlier in the day when his aces were cracked by David Miscikowski, but he did well to survive to the next page jump. Faroukhians open shoved from under the gun for his last 40,000, and Bryan Yoon, who was next to act, raised it up to an unknown amount. Action folded around to David Miscikowski, who went all in from the button. Next to act was Tong Le in the small blind, and he went all in as well! The big blind folded, as did Yoon, and the three players flipped their cards up.
Faroukhians:

Miscikowski:

Le:

Miscikowski had both of them covered, but would need alot of help to catch up to Le. The flop came out

, and it was not looking good for Miscikowski or Faroukhians. The turn brought the
, and Faroukhians was drawing dead, while Miscikowski would need a miracle river. He didn't get it, as the
hit the river. Le yelled out "yes!!" as he scooped the giant pot, upping his stack to around 800,000. Meanwhile, Miscikowski is crippled to 65,000.
Freddy Deeb put out a 400,000 bet on the river on a board showing
against Julie Franks. Franks went deep into the tank and finally folded
face up.
"What did she fold?" Deeb asked the dealer. The dealer told him and he said "A straight?!"
"I had you on a flush," Franks stated.
Alex Masek just doubled through John Villanueva about 5 minutes ago, and he has just finished the job he started, eliminating Villanueva. Action started with Masek raising to 35,000 in early position. Action folded to Vince Cardella in the cutoff, and he made the call. Villanueva tagged along on the button, and the blinds folded.
The three of them saw the dealer fan out a flop of

, and Masek slowly cut out a bet of 68,000, and slid it into the middle. Cardella got out of the way, and action was on Villanueva, who decided to shove all in for 74,000 more. Masek went into the tank, counting out the chips for the call, then assessing the damage to his stack were he to lose the hand. After about a minute, he made the call, and saw he was in great shape.
Masek:

Villanueva:

Masek would need to dodge one of hte two remaining fours, and he did so on the turn, the
, and the river, the
. Masek scooped the pot, upping his stack to around 550,000.
We caught up with this hand on the turn developing between David Singontiko and Julie Franks. The board read
and Singontiko had bet 81,000. Franks mulled her decision and raised to 220,000. Singontiko tanked for a short while and then called.
The river brought the
, Singontiko checked, Franks bet 300,000 and Singontiko took several moments before announcing a call. Franks tabled
for a rivered set and Singontiko reluctantly mucked.
