Roller Coaster for Panitch
Robert Panitch held the post dinner chip lead, but he lost a good chunk of that when he doubled up Greg Masters. However, he just picked off a river bluff that has him back up over 400,000.
The action started with an under the gun limp. Panitch was next to act, and he put out a raise to 14,000. Everyone else got out of the way, but the under the gun player quickly called the raise.
The dealer fanned out a 
flop, and it was checked to Panitch, who fired out 25,000. His opponent made the call, and the turn brought the 
. The same action happened here, with the under the gun player check calling a bet, this time 80,000. The river brought the 
, and Panitch's opponent decided now was the time to fire. It was a small bet of 40,000, and Panitch snap called as soon as the chips move forward.
His opponent could only table 
for two busted draws, while Panitch showed 
for nines full. After starting the hand less then 300,000, Panitch is now back up to 420,000.
