Kinney's Rollercoaster

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

James Kinney and Jonathan Moseley were heads up on a board of {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Kinney checked, Moseley fired 25,000, and Kinney called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}, Kinney check-called another 50,000, and the {3-Spades} completed the board. Kinney check-called one more bet, this one was for 85,000, and Moseley showed {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} for trip aces with an eight. Kinney flashed {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for trip aces with a worse kicker, then mucked his hand.

A few hands later, Kinney, Charles Carver, and Raymond Weaver saw a flop, turn, and river of {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Carver fired 150,000 into a pot of around 300,000, and only Kinney called. Carver showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for just a pair of nines, and Kinney proudly tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a winning pair of queens.

Moseley and Kinney linked up once more on a flop of {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Moseley check-called a bet of 50,000, and the turn brought the {5-Spades}. Moseley check-called another 150,000, and both players checked on the river was {8-Clubs}. Moseley showed {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks, and Kinney folded.

Kinney, after all of those hands, has 585,000 chips.
