Khodayarkhani's Turn to Double

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 30,000 ante

Kasra Khodayarkhani was in first position, and open-shoved for 1.22 million. Daniel Weinman called in the big blind, and the cards were on their backs.

Khodayarkhani: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Weinman: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

The dealer fanned {8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, which was a very interesting flop. Weinman made two pair, while Khodayarkhani was still very much alive with an open-ended straight draw. The {3-Spades} on the turn was no help to the Texan, but the {q-Clubs} completed the board, giving him a queen-high straight.

He doubled to 2.5 million chips, while Weinman is still healthy with 4.32 million.
