Kasra Khodayarkhani has gotten off to a nice start here on Day 1a of the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's New Orleans Main Event, and currently sits with over 70,000 chips. The Plano, Texas native has cashed six times on the circuit in 2013 alone, with his deepest run coming in the Choctaw Main Event.
Khodayarkhani finished 15th, earning $20,332, and now has a total of $75,000 in career tournament earnings.
2012 World Series of Poker bracelet winner Nick Jivkov opened to 1,600 in middle position, Aaron Massey three-bet to 3,900 near the button, and the action folded back to the Chicagoan, who called.

Irani, who would've been over 70,000 chips, dropped down to 40,000, while his opponent doubled to around 30,000.
