The second starting day of the 2016 WSOP Circuit €1,650 Main Event at King's Casino in Rozvadov attracted a massive field of 471 hopefuls. Combined with the 331 players of Day 1a, the overall field increased to 802 after two starting days. With players having the option to register until the start of Day 2, the field is expected to grow even further. With more than 800 entries, the €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool has been shattered, making the event a big success for King's Casino and the WSOP.

A total of 186 players bagged up chips in the second starting flight, and it ended up being a closely fought contest for the chip lead. After the last hand was dealt, it was Milad Izadmousa of Germany who bagged the overnight chip lead with 243,300. Stefan Drabert (231,300), Szymon Wysocki (226,600), Volkan Matur (224,500), Maciej Kondraszuk (210,000), Ignacio Molina (209,400) and Bastian Dohler (207,100) all finished in striking distance of the number one.

Notables who bagged chips on Day 1b included November Niners Pierre Neuville (102,800), Vojtech Ruzicka (48,000) and Martin Staszko (47.600), Martin Kabrhel (63,000), last year's champion Mateusz Dziebowski (44,900), Sofia Lovgren (43,100) and Ondrej Vinklarek (22,400). Among those eliminated were Bart Lybaert, Andrew King and Johnny Hansen.

At least 315 contestants will return to King's Casino on Sunday for Day 2. At 2 p.m. local time, play will resume in level 13 with blinds of 800/1,600 and an ante of 200. Francisco Arce will begin as the overall chipleader with 317,800. The level duration will be increased to one hour for the remainder of the tournament. Registration remains open until the first cards are in the air.

Follow all the action live on PokerNews.com as we play down until a winner has been crowned on Monday night.

Three players saw a flop of {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} appear. The small blind led out with 3,100, Pierre Neuville called in the big blind and the cutoff folded. On the {9-Spades} turn, the small blind continued his aggression with 6,000, and the 2015 November Niner once again made the call.

On the {10-Diamonds} river, the small blind quickly bet 7,000. Neuville briefly thought before sliding a tower of T-5000 chips forward, putting the decision on his opponent. The small blind had 32,000 behind and immediately folded his hand.

Sofia Lovgren

In a battle of the Scandinavians, Johnny Hansen raised to 1,700 from under the gun and Sofia Lovgren called from the small blind. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} and Lovgren check-called a 2,100 bet from the Dane.

On the {2-Hearts} turn, Lovgren checked, Hansen bet 3,500 and Lovgren called again.

The {K-Spades} on the river certainly wasn't a blank, and Lovgren open-shoved all in without hesitation. It was effectively 28,000 to Hansen, who quickly flung his {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} face-up in the muck.
