Viliyan Petleshkov Eliminated in 8th Place (€21,163)

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Viliyan Petleshkov
Viliyan Petleshkov

The action was folded to Hossein Ensan in the cutoff who raised to 160,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Viliyan Petleshkov was in the big blind and looked down at {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. He moved all-in for 1,110,000 and Ensan snap-called him.

Petleshkov took the lead on the flop of {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} with a pair of queens. However, the {k-Spades} on the turn put Ensan back in the driver's seat. The river landed the {6-Hearts} and Petleshkov became the first player eliminated from the final table.

Hossein Ensan raised to 160,000 with the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Jan Timo Jobmann called in the hijack with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked. After the {7-Hearts} turn, Ensan also picked up his flush draw as well and the duo checked through.

The {2-Spades} river brought no betting action either and Ensan scooped another pot.

Hossein Ensan opened to 160,000 from under the gun with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and was called by Viktor Kovachev in the big blind with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} and both players checked to the {7-Spades} on the turn.

Kovachev led out for 180,000 and Ensan made the call to see the {2-Hearts} on the river. Kovachev continued for 260,000 with the best hand but Ensan immediately announced all-in. Kovachev quickly mucked his cards and Ensan found a way to take down another pot.

Jobmann Looks Up Gegic

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, the flop showed {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Davit Okropiridze with {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} checked to Viliyan Petleshkov with the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the Bulgarian bet 165,000. Okropiridze took a long time before check-raising to 380,000 and that forced out Petleshkov.

The next hand, Jan Timo Jobmann raised to 175,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Rifat Gegic in the big blind was tempted with {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, then called. On the {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Gegic checked and check-raised a bet of 180,000 by Jobmann to 400,000. Jobmann called and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn paired the board for the second time.

Rifat immediately bet 500,000 and Jobmann counted his remaining stack before making the call. The {J-Spades} fell on the river and Gegic gave up the 2.2 million pot to drop into second place.

Petleshkov Wins Three In-a-Row

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov looked down at the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and moved all-in from the hijack. The blinds folded and Petleshkov picked up the pot.

In the next hand, Petleshkov picked up the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and shipped all-in again. Everyone folded and Petleshkov picked up the blinds and antes again.

With Petleshkov in early position, he woke up with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} again and raised to 180,000. Petleshkov could not pick up any action and the third pot in-a-row was shipped his way.

A Massive Double for Gegic

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Rifat Gegic
Rifat Gegic

Jan Timo Jobmann raised to 160,000 with the {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Rifat Gegic called from the small blind with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}. Pavel Stolar in the big blind three-bet to 450,000 with {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Jobmann folded, Gegic called after some consideration.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Gegic checked, while Stolar made it 330,000 to go. Gegic moved all in for 2,035,000 and Stolar engaged in some table chat before making the call.

Neither the {10-Hearts} turn nor the {J-Hearts} river improved Stolar and he took a massive hit to his stack.
