Lisandro Busts Two

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante
Jeff Lisandro
Jeff Lisandro

Jeff Lisandro raised from under the gun and Jan Bednar called from one seat over. Two other players called before a short stack on the button moved all in for 9,700. Lisandro called and also tossed in the additional chips when Bednar shoved over the top for 13,000.

The short stack had {Q-}{J-}, Bednar the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Lisandro flipped over {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop of {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} was a great one for Lisandro, as he had both opponents on the ropes and drawing to a chop only with his nut straight. The {10-Spades} turn and {5-Clubs} river were blanks and Lisandro knocked out both opponents.

One hand later, Lisandro defended his big blind to a raise worth 1,100 and the duo checked the {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop. Lisandro bet the {7-Spades} turn for 2,400 and picked up a call before the {J-Spades} river brought a bet of 6,500 by Lisandro and a fold of his sole opponent.

Dawid Paczka
Dawid Paczka

Dawid Paczka raised to 1,000 from middle position and picked up four callers that saw the flop of {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}. The action was checked to Paczka who continued for 1,600. The hijack and the button both called to see the {a-Diamonds} land on the turn.

Paczka thought for a minute before putting together a bet of 6,300. Both of his opponents let their hand go and the pot was shipped to Paczka.

Easy Come; Easy Go

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

The hero not long ago, now the stack of Pedjman Hamie has taken a big hit. On the {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Hamie's bet of 3,200 was called by his opponent and the {3-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Hamie bet 7,000 and called the shove of his opponent for 17,825 with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for the gutshot and nut flush draw.

His opponent had turned the straight with {A-Spades}{5-Spades} and the {9-Hearts} river was of no help to see the German lose a ton of chips.

Sandro Pitzanti
Sandro Pitzanti

Four players were in the hand for 850 each and saw a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. The action was checked to the player in middle position who bet 2,300. Sandro Pitzanti was the only player to call from the big blind.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and both players checked to the {k-Diamonds} on the river. Pitzanti took advantage of his opponent slowing down and made a small bet of 2,000 on the river. His opponent couldn't call and Pitzanti raked in the pot.

Maxim Lykov
Maxim Lykov

Maxim Lykov's raise was met by a three-bet to 4,000 by Iaroslav Dubinchuk in the big blind and Lykov called. After the flop of {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Dubinchuk continued for 3,600 and was called before moving all in for 14,375. There were as many chips in the pot and Lykov reluctantly called, Sebastian Langrock also confirmed that Dubinchuk had three-bet for the first time on their table.

Iaroslav Dubinchuk: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Maxim Lykov: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {A-Hearts} on the river was of no help for Dubinchuk and Lykov boosted his stack to more than 100,000.

Neuville Runs Into Aces

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

There was a raise to 1,200 from the hijack and Pierre Neuville called from the cutoff. Andrej Cintula three-bet to 4,300 from the big blind only to have the original raiser four-bet to 9,200. Neuville was on the short stack and stuck the rest of his chips in the middle for a total of 14,900. Cintula raised again to 49,300 and the player in middle position folded.

The two remaining hands were tabled and Neuville was in trouble. Cintula turned over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Neuville had {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Cintula's aces held up to eliminate Neuville.

Wasek Among Biggest Stacks; Greko Done

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Gregor Greko
Gregor Greko

On the flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, big stack Lukasz Wasek checked out of the big blind and called a bet of 1,300 by Irakli Kutchava before the duo checked the {A-Clubs} turn. After the {6-Spades} river, Wasek moved all in and Kutchava tanked for two minutes before folding. Wasek's brother Artur is also in the field today, but Lukasz has the far superior stack at the moment.

One table over, there were some 10,000 in the pot and the board showed {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Michael Hoch checked and Gregor Greko bet 8,000 with about as much behind. Table talk emerged between the two of them and Hoch eventually raised to 20,000, Greko called all in for 18,000.

Hoch turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Greko could all but laugh. "I never gave you such a strong hand," he said and flipped over his {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The {3-Spades} river was no help for Greko and he was eliminated. "I would have folded the aces if I didn't have the heart," Hoch said in table chat and the same table also features Rainer Ziermann and Peter Siemund.
