"Just Stay Here"

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante
Aviv Meiri
Aviv Meiri

"Just stay here and you will always have action," Pedro Lamarca joked and the Spaniard was right almost immediately. After a raise to 700 by the player in under the gun, Aviv Meiri shoved for his last 4,800. Jan-Peter Jachtmann reraised and made it 11,150 to go from the small blind and that forced out the initial raiser.

Aviv Meiri: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The board came {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Meiri doubled, the same table also features Pierre Neuville as well.

Ivo Donev Wins a Massive Three-Way All-In

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante
Ivo Donev
Ivo Donev

A big pot was escalating quickly over on table 90, and Ivo Donev was right in the middle of it. With the flop reading {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} a player in middle position was all-in for around 30,000 and Donev had already called. Donev handed his phone to the player beside him, asking to take a video of the hand. There was still action pending on the big blind and eventually, he also made the call. The big blind folded pocket jacks face up and the remaining three hands were tabled.

The big blind rolled over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and the player in middle position tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Donev, building the anticipation, finally showed {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river landed the {a-Clubs}. Donev's top set on the flop, turned into a full house, sent a massive pot his way. Both of his opponents were eliminated and Donev stacked his chips to sit in the chip lead as dinner break approaches.

Verhaegen Upsets Magradze

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Several players from Georgia who qualified through Adjarabet made the trip to Rozvadov and among them was also Beka Magradze. He was cruising until now but a big clash with Wim Verhaegen left the Georgian empty-handed.

The full action remains unclear, but Magradze was all in for around 26,300 with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} on a flop of {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Verhaegen had that beat with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for top set and the {2-Clubs} turn and {6-Hearts} river bricked off.

Hamie Among Casualties

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Some 70 players have been eliminated during the first half of the day and among them was Pedjman Hamie. "I flopped a straight and the other guy had a set, he rivered the full house," Hamie said on the way out before jumping into a different side event. The fortune of Aviv Meiri didn't last long either and he was eliminated, but immediately bought back in.

According to the screens, there are 310 out of 388 players remaining and they will be heading into a 30-minute dinner break at the end of the level.

Stumpf Makes Two Pair on the River

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

The dealer spread the flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} with around 4,000 in the pot already. The big blind checked to Frank Stumpf in middle position who bet 2,650. His opponent called and the {5-Spades} peeled off on the turn.

Both players checked and the {a-Diamonds} completed the board. The big blind led out for 8,500 and Stumpf instantly tossed in a chip to call. The big blind turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for just king-high and Stumpf showed {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for two pair.

Pre Dinner Counts

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Rakesh Lalwani was all in for only 8,525 and tabled {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to see his sole opponent flip over the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. The board came {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} and Lalwani headed to the rail a few minutes before the end of the level.

Post Dinner Counts

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Pedjman Hamie raised on the button and called the shove of short stack Siarhei Soika for 10,500 with the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. Soika showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and failed to get there on the board of {J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

Pedro Lamarca's raise to 1,100 was met by a three-bet to 3,300 from the player in the small blind and Lamarca simply moved all in for effectively 24,000, as that's what the small blind had left. It was enough to force a fold and Hamie is off to a good start on the second bullet.
