Day 1a of the WSOP Circuit Main Event at the King's Casino in Rozvadov gets underway today at 2pm with four days of poker to look forward to as the Rozvadov Festival reaches a climax.
Some of the players who have been spotted already in town are November Niners Vojtech Ruzicka from Czech Republic, and Pierre Neuville from Belgium. Another Czech Republic native in Martin Kabrhel will also be in attendnace, along with England’s Sam Grafton. They will be joined over the two starting days by players from all over the world attempting to win a coveted gold WSOP Circuit ring and a slice of the huge prizepool.
The last time the WSOP Circuit Main Event was held at King’s Casino, Ivan Banic from Croatia beat Germany’s Yehuda Cohen heads-up to take home a whopping €232,241 conquering a big field of 851 in November 2016 to be crowned champion.
The Main Event is a €1,650 entry with a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. Players are permitted a single re-entry each starting day with a starting stack of 30,000 with 12 levels of 45 minutes scheduled for today.
Day 1b is on Saturday at 2pm following the same format and Day 2 on Sunday and Day 3 on Monday switch to hour long levels and play down to a winner and a new champion.

Sam Grafton has recently entered the €1,650 Main Event and is seated at a table with Franklin Nurmohamed. Grafton raised to 200 from the cutoff and Nurmohamed defended his big blind.
The flop came . Nurmohamed checked and Grafton bet 175.
"Full house again?" asked Nurmohamed, before folding.
"Maybe by the river," Grafton replied as he scooped the pot.
Catalin Pop, winner of the 888Live Rozvadov Main Event in February, has just taken his seat in the Main Event. He's already enjoyed some success at the WSOP International Circuit here in Rozvadov, finishing third in the 888 WSOPC Mini Event for €7,569.
The Romanian is a regular here at King's Casino, and will be looking to better his biggest live cash of €80,000 which he got for taking down the 888Live Main Event.
Former EPT Barcelona champion Sebastian Malec was just eliminated in a hand against Lambros Vrakes.
A player opened to 1,000 from early position with the blinds 250 and 500. Vrakes then three-bet to 2,600 and Malec called in position.
The flop came . The initial raiser checked and Vrakes bet 5,250. Malec called and the third player folded.
The turn was the and Vrakes bet 11,500. Malec counted out the chips to make the call before checking how much he had in the rest of his stack. He then announced all in and Vrakes quickly called.
Malec showed for a set of tens, but Vrakes had turned a set of queens with . The river was the and Malec was eliminated.
Dennis Bijen moved all in for 15,500 from under the gun. In the next position sat Jiri Horak, who finished runner-up in the 2016 edition of the Colossus for $618,000. Horak had been short since before the last break and had finally found a spot to get his remaining chips in the middle. The remaining players at the table folded and the cards were turned over.
