Hoekendijk Staying Alive

Albert Hoekendijk is staying alive in the tournament after he just doubled up through Ad Schaap. Michal Mrakes raised from the under the gun position to 13,000 and Ad Schaap three-bet to 36,500 from middle position. Hoekendijk moved all in and Mrakes got out of the way. Schaap called quickly.

Refos Sucks Out on Hoekendijk

Raoul Refos just won a big pot against Albert Hoekendijk. All the chips went to the middle with aces against queens. Refos was holding the pair of queens and needed to hit one of two outs to survive. Hoekendijk was sitting in the best position with a pair of aces.

The flop was clean, the turn didn't bring any harm to Hoekendijk his chances, but the river was the queen and Refos got lucky to double up through Hoekendijk.
