Bad Round for the Belgians

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

The last hour or so has not been kind to the Belgians that have decided to pay Rozvadov a visit in an attempt to earn some money here at the WSOP International Circuit.

Pierre Neuville had climbed back up to around 40,000 but is now sitting on a start stack again.

Bart Lybaert and Kiarash Nabavieh were seated at the same table but were now both gone.

Yves Sergeant lost about 1/3 of his stack but still had more than average.

Sylvain Naets was down but just doubled up back to starting stack when he shoved pre-flop with ace-jack and was called by someone with ace-eight.

Anderson and Hayward Clash For the Last Time; Kabrhel Adds Some More Chips

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

- Joseph Anderson has just been eliminated when he ran his queens into the jack-eight of hearts of Jonathan Hayward and Hayward hit his flush.

- The player in the small blind raised to 2,500 and Martin Kabrhel barraged him with questions about how strong his hand was.

After a while, he said: "I like you, I don't want to bust you." and then called.

The flop came {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, the small blind checked.

"What are you waiting for? A flush?" Kabrhel asked him. Kabrhel then bet 2,500 and the small blind called.

The turn brought them the {q-Diamonds}, the small blind checked again. Kabrhel now bet 4,000 and his opponent quickly folded.

Ruzicka Unlucky Not to Chip Up

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

There was plenty of action on a {4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} board with a player having all his chips in the middle against Vojtech Ruzicka. Ruzicka held {9-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a turned straight, but the river had saved his opponent with {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} giving both players a straight.

Adam Takes From Litvinyuk

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Elena Litvinyuk
Elena Litvinyuk

The board read {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Elena Litvinyuk had checked from the hijack. The pot already contained about 20,000 in it and Cedric Adam decided to bet 9,500. Litvinyuk thought about it for a while and then decided to raise to 21,000. This put Adam in a bind and he tanked. He glanced at Litvinyuk and her stack for about two to three minutes and ended up calling. Litvinyuk showed {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens but she was beaten by the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} of Adam as he had hit top pair on the flop.
